Casting Role of CLARA/ELLIE - Video Submissions
Nora Brennan Casting, NYC, is working with Radio City Productions to cast
the role of CLARA/ELLIE for the Christmas Spectacular Starring
the Radio City Rockettes (the “Show”) for 2022/ 2023.
Accepting submissions from now through July 1, 2022

SEEKING: |
CLARA/ELLIE – female child ballet dancer. Physically small, 4’10” and under, ages 10 to 14. CLARA/ELLIE must look between the ages of
10 to 13 years old.
All ethnicities are strongly encouraged to submit video.
The dual role of CLARA/ELLIE will require the following:
CLARA – must have strong ballet technique with at least one year of en
pointe experience. CLARA will be required to dance en pointe (as well as turn en pointe)in the show.
ELLIE – is a speaking role. No previous acting experience is required.
If invited by Radio City Productions to audition for the role, we will provide your contact information to Radio City Productions so that you can register your child for an audition.

PREPARE: |
We would like your child to learn two ballet combinations from the show. This must be performed en pointe and then filmed on video or iPhone/Android.

On the video, please have your child start by saying their name, age, height, city and state. Then perform the combinations learned from the video.
Please ensure that both videos are combined into one file (.MOV or .MP4). Name the file with your child’s name and RCCS22. (For example: JaneSmithRCCS22.mov). When filming, please video your child with camera or iPhone/Android in landscape (horizontal) mode (do not hold phone vertical). Please DO NOT film in 4K; please use standard definition.
Please upload the finished video submission to YouTube or Vimeo. For YouTube users, please make video private and share the link with us via the email below. For Vimeo users, please password protect video and send us the password along with the video link. |

INFORMATION |
If your child is invited to audition and later offered a role in the Show, a contract with the American Guild of Variety Artists (AGVA) for principal scale with no travel, housing or per diem included would be offered. The contract would begin in mid October 2022 and run to early January 2023 and must be executed by the child’s parent or legal guardian. The role will be triple cast.
If offered, the child must have a valid New York State work permit and be legally authorized to work in the US to commence employment with Radio City Productions. If your child is hired, you must provide the NY work permit and evidence of such authorization in accordance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. If the child now or at a future date requires visa sponsorship to work in the United States, please contact RCProductions@msg.com upon registration. If hired, your child will also be required to have a trust account in accordance with New York law.

PLEASE NOTE: For dancers who may be asked to come to New York City for the in-person auditions (currently scheduled to be held in mid-August, 2022): All applicants entering any of Madison Square Garden’s work locations or venues must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. To be considered “fully vaccinated,” either two weeks must have elapsed following an individual’s receipt of the second dose of a two-dose vaccine series, or two weeks must have elapsed following an individual’s receipt of a single-dose vaccine.
In accordance with applicable laws, the Company will review all requests for reasonable accommodations made by individuals who indicate that they are unable to receive a COVID-19 vaccination in connection with a medical condition, disability, or sincerely held religious belief.
While vaccine boosters are not currently required for employment with MSG, they are recommended.
Masks are welcome but not required.
